Florida Guardsmen conquer Norwegian Ruck March

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Matthew Spissak, 290th Joint Communications Support Squadron radio frequency transmission systems specialist, is pictured after completed the Norwegian Ruck March held at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, March 31, 2023. Spissak was one of five 290th JCSS Airmen who participated in the march. The 18.6-mile march required participants to carry a rucksack weighing at least 25 pounds and finish within time limits set by age and gender. The Norwegian Ruck March is sponsored by the Norwegian Embassy in Washington, D.C., Office of the Defense Attaché, and is held to foster interest in marching over extended distances among military and civilian personnel.
