Members of the 202nd Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers (RED HORSE) Squadron, Florida Air National Guard, receive equipment at St. James City, Pine Island, Florida in response to Hurricane Ian, Oct. 3, 2022. This marks the first time in the units' history that personnel and equipment have been airlifted into a disaster area by the Army. The 202nd RED HORSE Squadron, stationed at Camp Blanding, Florida, is a specialized, highly mobile civil engineering team comprised of Florida Air National Guardsmen that provides rapid response capabilities for multiple worldwide contingencies and operations.
