The 125th Force Support Squadron receives a new commander during a change of command ceremony, at the 125th Fighter Wing, July 14, 2019.

The presiding officer, Col. Jason Lay, 125th Mission Support Group commander, oversaw the transfer of command between Lt. Col. Suzanne Lamb, 125th Force Support Squadron commander and Lt. Col. Crystal Boswell, incoming commander, at the dining facility.

As the 125th FSS commander, Boswell will lead over 40 military employees and continues to provide readiness through recruitment and development of high caliber personnel, while promoting healthy and fortified lifestyles for all 125th personnel.

Following the exchange, Boswell addressed the airmen of the FSS.

“To the members of the 125th FSS, we are in this together,” said Boswell. “Team FSS, although I may have overall authority, my ultimate responsibility is to ensure that you have everything you need to not only make the mission a success but for you to succeed as well.”

Lt. Col. Lamb’s focus on excellence led the Services Flight’s achievement as the Kenneth W. Disney Award selection as the best dining facility in the Air National Guard in 2017.
“When I took command,” said Lamb, “I wanted my leadership style to be one of servant-leadership. People don’t care how much you know, unless they know how much you care. I care about every member of this squadron, and I want that to be my legacy.”

Lamb will now serve as the new Inspector General for Complaints Resolution at the 125th.
