Chief Master Sergeant Angella Beckom

Chief Beckom enlisted in the Florida Air National Guard in 1990 as an Airman Basic - information management journeyman – later cross training to the health services management career field. Throughout her 31+ years of service, Chief Beckom has held multiple roles in leadership including her current assignment as the State Command Chief, Florida Air National Guard. Previous assignments include the 125th Fighter Wing Command Chief Master Sergeant, 125th Medical Group Senior Enlisted Leader, Chief Enlisted Manager, and additional duty as First Sergeant. In June 2021, Chief Beckom was selected to serve as the Region 3 Alternate for the Air National Guard Enlisted Field Advisory Council representing the Airmen of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Recently, Chief Beckom was selected to serve as the Region 3 Primary. In this role, she assists with providing enlisted members of the ANG a vehicle to express their concerns, and takes lead on issues and concerns of the ANG Command Chief Master Sergeant, providing a conduit for two-way communication between the field and the Director, ANG, through the ANG Command Chief Master Sergeant.

Chief Beckom is a 2019 graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Doctorate of Health Science, a 2007 graduate of Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in Human Relations, a 2003 graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies, a 2002 graduate of the Community College of the Air Force with an Associate’s Degree in Health Care Management. She has also completed the following professional military education and development courses: USAF NCO Prep Course (correspondence, 1997), USAF NCOA (correspondence, 2000), USAF SNCOA (correspondence, 2001), USAF SNCOA (in-residence, 2011), USAF Additional Duty First Sergeant Seminar (in-residence, 2012), USAF Chief Leadership Course (in-residence, 2017), ANG Chief Executive Course (in-residence, 2018), Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education II Course (correspondence, 2018), ANG Command Chief Master Sergeant Orientation Course (virtual, 2020), USAF Command Chief Master Sergeant Training Course (virtual, 2021), USAF Senior Enlisted Legal Orientation Course (in-residence, 2021), Executive Leadership Program in Managing for Inclusion – Georgetown University (virtual, 2022), and the USAF Enterprise Leadership Seminar – University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (in-residence, 2022).

Chief Beckom is a lifelong resident of Florida and currently resides in Jacksonville.
