 125th Operations Support Flight 

Mission Statement: The 125th Operations Support Flight provides Combatant Commanders with mission ready airmen and equipment, enabling the warfighter through world class operational support.

THE 125 OSF:

• Coordinates airfield operations and maintenance: conducts airfield inspections and ensures safety compliance. Manages the operations desk, and airfield driving program, designs parking plans, determines the bird watch condition, publishes NOTAMs and coordinates for in flight publications

• Maintains aircrew flight equipment and conducts pilot equipment training: packs and maintains parachutes, survival kits, drogue chutes, aircrew chemical defense equipment, harnesses, G-suits, joint helmet mounted cuing system (JHMCS), night vision goggles, and survival radios
• Conducts intelligence operations: advises commanders and warfighters on threats to U.S. and allied forces. Produces source intelligence situation reports, maps, charts, briefs. Aids in mission planning, provides current intelligence to the commanders and warfighters.
• Manages aviation resources: maintains aircrew flight records, training records and produces summary reports. Monitors and advises leadership on pilot “Go/No Go” status and produces flight authorizations. Manages flight pay, and reconciles flight hours with maintenance.
• Provides support for personnel recovery command, control and coordination in theater to include personnel recovery plans and emergency action plans. Conducts aircrew survival, evasion, equipment and escape training
• Provides administrative support to commanders: provides human resources, executive and administrative support. Provides postal support for official mail and support for personnel actions.

MISSION
The 125 OSF is a Florida Air National Guard unit gained by Air Combat Command responsible for providing support assets to warfighters and commanders. The 125 OSF is a diverse organization, comprised of many different mission sets with the common theme of operational support. As an Air National Guard asset, the 125 OSF is also available for state contingencies (hurricanes, floods, fires, domestic response) and is subject to activation by the Governor of Florida in times of emergency. Its primary state mission, once activated for an emergency, is to provide intelligence support to the Joint Operations Center (JOC) and to provide people and equipment as needed for relief efforts.
